A sunny, beautiful day in Corvallis marked our return to the Shuck! This year turned into the 21st Shuck due to the Covid 19 Pandemic and missing out on the 2020 season. We had a smaller than normal crowd, as we navigated recommendations and personal comfort levels along with vaccination status. We also moved to a new location in Avery due to the Maple Grove shelter being damaged in a fire. The Thompson Shelter proved to be an upgrade and we'll continue to opt for this location going forward!

Looking back at these photos, I can see how we were all impacted by months of quarantine and fears of losing loved ones. I also see the joy and love in the faces of our children...some of whom came into the world during the convergence of unprecedented turmoil. I can tell you I was personally thrilled to see so many of your beautiful faces after a lockdown and a year of uncertainty and political divide. What I know in my heart, is that the Shuck brings people together and will continue to do so for many years to come.
